The Tree of Life Fund is an impact fund that aims to provide African women entrepreneurs with the finance and technical support required to grow their businesses through intra-African trade. TLF believes in a vision which changes the narrative about the capacity of African women’s businesses to grow, scale and adapt to technology in such a way that they can generate financial resources of their own and take advantage of the AfCFTA marketplace.

Innovating access to financing and support
The Tree of Life fund is an impact fund that aims to provide African women entrepreneurs with the finance and technical support required to grow their businesses through intra-African trade. TLF aims to plug the gap in access to finance and credit for African women entrepreneurs on the one hand, and on the other hand, provide access to specialist technical teams of instructors which would support the growth and scale of their companies. In this way, the TLF is not a traditional equity fund but seeks to innovate access to financing by providing additional support for the growth and development of companies and businesses owned by African women.
